before i moved here, i heard alot of horror stories about how the DBS down in south florida sucked really hard. now, having lived down here for 4 months, i couldn't disagree more. my couhnselor has gotten me all of the necessary equipment that i needed that DBS up where i used to live failed to purchase for me. i failed college because of the one up where i used to live because they didnt get me any readers or anything at all. so now that i live down here, once i return from getting my hnew guide dog from GEB in new york, i will most likely go back to college now that i have the necessary support that ineed to succeed.
DBS in my part of the state went through a lot of counslors for a while but now we have one.
They will pay your tuition if your GPA is 2.0 or higher.
well my college GPA is really really horrible due to the fact that the dbs in central florida did nothing to help. my high school GPA is really good though.
